Arizona Community Foundation tour of research labs I conducted a tour for the the Director of Scholarships and Education Initiatives at the Arizona Community Foundation The Director of Scholarships and Education Initiatives oversees funds that are allocated to foster undergraduate research. I advocated the educational benefit of hands-on research in the lab for undergraduate students. 12/2014 - 12/2014
  • Translational Genomics Research Institute Foundation. Role: Other. Saks Fifth Ave Breast Cancer Research fundraising event I participated in the lab tour and brief research presentation to the committee for the Saks Fifth Ave breast cancer research fundraising event. The organizing committee for the fundraising event consisted of breast cancer survivors and local philanthropists in the Greater Phoenix area. My contribution was to raise awareness for breast cancer and breast cancer research. 08/2014 - 08/2014
