Biography

Linda R. Nelson, MD, PhD, is an OB/GYN and Reproductive Endocrinologist in the Division of Obstetrics and Gynecology in at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center. She is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology with a subspecialty in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility.

Dr. Nelson’s expertise involves all aspects of reproductive endocrinology and infertility, including PCOS, menopause and menstrual disorders. In addition, she provides minimally invasive surgery for gynecologic conditions such as ovarian cysts, endometriosis and fibroids. She also provides gynecologic ultrasounds, including 3D saline infusion sonagraphy.

Dr. Nelson received her PhD in Physiological Psychology at UCLA and her medical degree from the University of Miami School of Medicine. She completed her residency in OB/GYN at UCLA and fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at UCSF.

Dr. Nelson is a Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix and Creighton University School of Medicine at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
