Biography
Dr. Mark Fischione is a board certified anatomic and forensic pathologist who has been practicing as a medical examiner for 28 years. He retired as Chief Medical Examiner for Maricopa County after 17 years in 2013 and recently retired as chief Medical Examiner in Yavapai County, Arizona. He occasionally does autopsies for Gila County. He has been teaching for the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix and A.T. Still University in Mesa, AZ since the inception of the schools in 2007. He is a professor of pathology, histology and embryology.
