Wendy D. Ellis, DHEd

Dr. Ellis is a graduate of the University of Massachusetts - Amherst (bachelor’s degree in psychology ), Arizona State University (Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology) and A.T. Still University School of Health Management (Doctorate in Health Education).

A licensed professional counselor, she is an Assistant Professor of Practice, Family, Community and Preventive Medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine. She provides leadership and operational direction for Honor Health's educational and provider wellness initiatives as well as supporting collaboration and training across multiple disciplines to develop and implement the network's strategic direction for provider wellness improvement. She is also an active member of the HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center’s Bioethics Committee.

Dr. Ellis’ clinical and academic interests include collaborative and relationship- centered care, change management, empathy and the impact of the electronic health record on the doctor-patient relationship. She is co-author of the book Relationships Are Everything.

In her free time, she and her husband enjoy travelling. Some of her other interests include, photography,writing, cooking,and spending time with their newly adopted puppy, friends, and family.
