Biography

Shipra Garg, MD, is a board-certified Pediatric Pathologist who adds over 20 years of experience to the Pathology group at Phoenix Children's Hospital.

Dr. Garg's prior work includes working in adult pathology, which comes into focus with lesions afflicting our teen-aged to young adult patients. She has extensive background in the research setting, testing and validating new markers used to identify pathologic processes. In addition to her work at Phoenix Children's, Dr. Garg is a Consultant Oncologic Pathologist at Caris Life Sciences. She is also on faculty at the Osler Institute and teaches Pediatric pathology to the residents who attend the board review course.

When not working as a pathologist, Dr. Garg spends her free time painting.
