Biography

Dr. Matthew Schmidgall is a Family Physician at Banner-University Medical Center Phoenix and a Clinical Assistant Professor with the University of Arizona College of Medicine - Phoenix. Dr. Schmidgall obtained his medical degree from the University of Arizona College of Medicine Tucson and completed the community service distinction track. He completed his residency in family medicine at the University of Arizona College of Medicine Phoenix Family Medicine Residency. He also completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Arizona.

Dr. Schmidgall is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and Arizona Academy of Family Physicians. Areas of interest include caring for underserved populations and food insecurity. He is currently the lead for the Banner-University Medicine Family Medicine Clinic Food Pantry Project.
